THREE BASICS OF A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW IN CAREFULLY INTERPRETING THE BIBLE

There are three very basic patterns that you can find from Genesis through Revelation, that gives you a cohesive picture in understanding the Bible and a biblical worldview about Redemption and Dispensations and Matrimony:

What has God done and is God doing and will God do about our eternal salvation?

To whom has God assigned the responsibility of evangelism in any given time of history?

How is it that our salvation involves both personal relationship & unconditional commitment?

The Message of the Gospel of Salvation is Redemption – “Salvation-History” in Covenant is how God provided salvation and offers it to us. The Bible records this History of Salvation.

The Messengers of the Gospel of Salvation are Stewards – God’s Four Stewardships for His Plan of the Ages are in Four Dispensations of Evangelism, and this is how God historically did and prophetically will bring about His full Redemption through the ages.

The Marriage-Imagery of the Gospel of Salvation: Covenant of Matrimony – God’s Covenant of Salvation with Israel in the Old Testament and the Gospels and with Christ’s Church in the rest of the New Testament is illustrated by His Covenant of Jewish Matrimony, as Family Imagery or Bridal Theology.

THE ORIGIN AND TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE

How Can We Know What the Bible Really Is?

How did our Bible come to be inspired and written in its original languages and preserved in copies to this present-day. Which copies are closest to the original revelation? What about translations and how to study the Bible?

THE ORIGIN AND TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE

STEWARDSHIP DISPENSATIONALISM God’s Plan of the Ages in Four Stewardships of Evangelism

God has revealed His Plan of the Ages in the Bible from Adam to Jesus Christ’s Millennial Kingdom in historic and prophetic Four Ages. These Four Ages or Dispensations are specified Stewardships in Evangelism that lay an informative framework for studying Genesis through Revelation.

In John 14:1-3 Jesus uses the Traditional Jewish Wedding procedures to reveal God’s plans for His people, The Church.

GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION AND MARRIAGE, AS TWO COVENANTS IN PARALLEL

Among the relationships within the Trinity, the imagery of the relationship of Father and Son

is most pervasive through scripture. One facet of this triune relationship is found from the vantage-point of the Church. The Church stands in a matrimonial covenant with Jesus Christ, similar to the matrimonial covenant that Israel has with God the Father.

FAMILY IMAGERY: THE BRIDE, THE BRIDEGROOM, AND ISRAEL

Eternal salvation is the theme and reason for the Bible being written according to 1 John 5:13. Understanding the Gospel is to see specifically how God dealt with man’s sin on the cross and what we must specifically do with what God did and says about how to be saved.
